Job Title: MED-SURG
Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $36 – $39/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a MED-SURG for a temporary assignment in Lawton, Oklahoma. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a MED-SURG:
• Work 7pm to 7am shift with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Provide care on a 24-bed adult medical/surgical unit
• Minimum of 6 months med/surg experience required
• Develop and implement total nursing care plans for patients
• Perform patient assessments and establish nursing diagnoses
• Create and maintain individualized patient care plans
• Provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient care team personnel
• Maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting
• Develop systems to provide care across a diverse patient population including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Work required holidays as scheduled
