Job Title: MED-SURG
Location: Deridder, Louisiana
Schedule: 7:00PM – 7:00AM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $49 – $53/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a MED-SURG for a temporary assignment in Deridder, Louisiana. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a MED-SURG:
• Provide nursing care to Medical and Surgical patients on a Med Surg Floor
• Occasionally care for pediatric patients as needed
• Work within a community-owned, not-for-profit 49-bed hospital environment
• Comply with Joint Commission Accreditation standards and requirements
• Adhere to all facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery
• Must not permanently reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Must be listed on the Louisiana Department of Health Nurse Staffing Agencies List as a travel RN
