Job Title: ER MED-SURG
Location: Cordova, Alaska
Schedule: 7:00PM – 7:00AM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $68 – $74/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a ER MED-SURG for a temporary assignment in Cordova, Alaska. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a ER MED-SURG:
• Provide registered nursing care with Med-Surge experience
• Work night shifts as scheduled
• Serve in a Float position on the Med-Surge floor with possible Emergency Department coverage as needed
• Maintain current AK (Alaska) state nursing license
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Maintain current ACLS certification
• Maintain current PALS certification
• TNCC certification preferred
• Complete training/orientation beginning December 3, 2026 prior to floor start date
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery
