Job Title: MED-SURG
Location: Coos Bay, Oregon
Schedule: 7:00PM – 7:00AM x 4
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $63 – $68/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a MED-SURG for a temporary assignment in Coos Bay, Oregon. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a MED-SURG:
• Willing to accept candidates with less than 1 year of experience
• Must hold an active Oregon RN State License
• Must maintain current BLS certification
• Recent acute care hospital experience required (within the past 5 years)
• Critical Care/ED experience preferred
• Group 1 (MCU, PSU, IMCU, APU): Must maintain BLS and ACLS, or obtain ACLS within 6 months
• Group 2 (ED, ICU): Must maintain PALS and TNCC certifications
• Must complete organization-approved workplace violence training, or obtain by the last day of the month following the 90-day grace period
• May be required to lift up to 50 lbs
