Job Title: Anesthesiologist
Location: Northampton, Massachusetts
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 31-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate: $322 – $346/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Anesthesiologist for a temporary assignment in Northampton, Massachusetts. These positions are 31-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Anesthesiologist:
• Work full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with a minimum commitment of 3 weeks per month
• Practice independently without supervision in the OR or Endoscopy settings
• Perform anesthesia for general, plastics, orthopedics, urology, gynecology, endoscopy, and healthy pediatric cases
• Apply regional anesthesia skills (strongly preferred)
• Manage 16 to 20 endoscopy cases per day when assigned to Endoscopy
• Perform a variety of nerve blocks, including pediatric blocks
• Provide anesthesia care for adult and healthy pediatric patient populations
• Utilize Epic as the electronic medical records and charting system
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Maintain board certification (ABA or eligible)
• Maintain valid Massachusetts state license and Massachusetts DEA registration
• Demonstrate a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
