Location: Ephrata, Pennsylvania
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate: $277 – $298/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a ENT for a temporary assignment in Ephrata, Pennsylvania. These positions are 13-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a ENT:
• Provide clinical support in both clinic and OR settings, with 5 OR days and 7 clinic days per month
• Work clinic hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch break; OT hours 7:30 AM to 3:30 or 4:00 PM
• Manage a high-volume clinic patient load of 26–27 patients per day
• Assist with approximately 6 surgeries per day in the OR
• Provide care across all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Perform general ENT procedures and specialty procedures
• Demonstrate comfort and proficiency with parathyroid, Cochlear, and BAHA procedures (preferred)
• Utilize Epic EMR system for accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with support staff including medical assistants and clinical support assistants
• Maintain active PA license or IMLC/LOQ
• Maintain current DEA registration
• Maintain current ACLS certification
• Meet board certification or board eligibility requirements
• Adhere to all credentialing, privileging, and compliance requirements within required timeframes
• Complete all health requirements including vaccines, physical, and fit testing
