Job Title: Physician Assistant (PA)
Location: Bellingham, Washington
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $111 – $120/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Physician Assistant (PA) for a locum tenens assignment in Bellingham, Washington. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Physician Assistant (PA):
• Provide outpatient Medical Oncology/Hematology services as a Physician Assistant in a clinic setting
• Work 1:1 with a Medical Oncologist (not as a solo provider)
• Manage an average of 14-15 adult patients per day
• Perform rounding duties as required
• Utilize EPIC EMR system proficiently for clinical documentation
• Provide documentation of hematology/medical oncology services representative of the scope and complexity of the privileges requested during the previous 24 months (waived for applicants who completed training within the previous year)
• Maintain active Washington state PA licensure prior to start of assignment
• Maintain current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination requirement (no exemptions)
• Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
