Job Title: L&D
Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Schedule: 7:00AM – 7:00PM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $77 – $83/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a L&D for a temporary assignment in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a L&D:
• Provide experienced Labor & Delivery (L&D) nursing care within a Family Birth Place Team setting
• Work across L&D, OR, PACU, and postpartum units, providing couplet care
• Care for babies 32 weeks gestational age and up
• Support a high-volume delivery environment with 60+ deliveries per month, with anticipated growth to 80+ deliveries per month
• Demonstrate RN Charge experience and ability to lead within the unit
• Function as a team player with limited requested time off (RTO)
• Deliver evidenced-based care to provide the best experience for patients and families
• Combine compassionate care with clinical expertise in all patient interactions
• Work 12-hour night shifts with rotating weekends
• Participate in call rotation, typically one 12-hour shift every 6 weeks (subject to change)
• Maintain current Colorado RN license or compact license to practice in Colorado
• Maintain current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• Maintain current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Maintain current S.T.A.B.L.E. certification
• Comply with mandatory Flu Vaccination requirement (required October 1st through April 1st, no declinations accepted)
