Job Title: Electrophysiologist
Location: Chambersburg, Pennsylvania
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate: $370 – $398/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Electrophysiologist for a temporary assignment in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. These positions are 13-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Electrophysiologist:
• Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with no call required
• Support 1 assigned clinical team in an outpatient setting and 1 assigned APP in an inpatient setting
• Provide coverage up to 40 hours per week once per month and as needed for vacation coverage
• Manage up to 16 outpatient patients per day and 10 to 15 inpatient patients per day
• Care for patient population ranging from ages 18 to 100
• Perform and support Electrophysiology procedures including Pacemaker Implant, ICD Implant (traditional and sub-Q), Loop Recorder Implant and/or Explant, and Ablations (AVN, SVT, AFLUTTER)
• Utilize EPIC EMR system for documentation and charting
• Apply Cardiology and Electrophysiology skills in an academic, clinic/private practice, and hospital setting
• Maintain active PA license or IMLC Letter of Qualification (LOQ)
• Maintain Board Certification (BC) or Board Eligibility (BE)
• Maintain active DEA registration
• Maintain current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Complete full credentialing compliance within 2 weeks prior to start
• Submit Social Security Number, photo, and PATCH results within 5 days of signing
• Schedule Child Abuse Search and Department of Human Services Fingerprint collection within required timeframes
• Comply with all health requirements including vaccines, physical, and fit testing
