Job Title: Surgeon
Location: Florence, Oregon
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 26-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate: $249 – $268/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Surgeon for a temporary assignment in Florence, Oregon. These positions are 26-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Surgeon:
• Provide general surgery services in a critical access hospital setting (inpatient and outpatient)
• Perform colonoscopy and endoscopy procedures
• Manage patient admissions
• See approximately 10 patients per day, adult population
• Work five (5) 8-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday in a clinic setting
• Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation and charting
• Maintain board certification in Surgery
• Maintain valid Oregon state medical license (must be in hand at time of presentation)
• Maintain current ACLS certification
• Provide documentation of surgical services representative of the scope and complexity of privileges requested within the previous 24 months (or training log if training completed within the past year)
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccine requirement (no exemptions)
• Work within a 21-bed facility supporting both inpatient and outpatient care needs
