Job Title: Dermatologist
Location: Rochester, New York
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 26-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate: $228 – $246/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Dermatologist for a temporary assignment in Rochester, New York. These positions are 26-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Dermatologist:
• Provide dermatology patient care services with a patient load of 25-35 patients per day
• Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Maintain current BLS certification (AHA or RQI accepted)
• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for documentation and charting
• Perform minor surgical procedures if experienced and willing (optional)
• Float between primary and affiliate dermatology office locations as needed
• Maintain valid NY state licensure
• Must be Board Certified (highly preferred)
• Minimum of 3 years of recent dermatology experience required
• Collaborate with support staff (LPN, RN, MA) structured at a ratio of 1 support staff per 12 patients
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation with no gaps of 30 or more days in work history
• Provide malpractice history disclosure with physician statement if applicable
• Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and compliance documentation requirements
