Job Title: Pathologist
Location: Orange, California
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 4-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate: $236 – $255/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Pathologist for a temporary assignment in Orange, California. These positions are 4-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Pathologist:
• Provide GI Pathology services with fellowship training required
• Perform work in GI pathology including luminal, pancreaticobiliary, and liver pathology
• Conduct biopsies and resections
• Liver specialization preferred but not required
• Work Monday through Friday, onsite
• Maintain day shift schedule, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with no call required
• Maintain valid California state license
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccine requirement including current booster with no exemptions
• Comply with flu vaccine requirement with no exemptions
• Work within a hospital practice setting
• Adhere to overtime policies, including 1.5x normal rate after 40 hours per week
• Adhere to holiday pay policies for designated holidays including New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
