Job Title: MED SURG PEDS
Location: Fort Defiance, Arizona
Schedule: 4:00PM – 4:00AM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $78 – $84/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a MED SURG PEDS for a temporary assignment in Fort Defiance, Arizona. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a MED SURG PEDS:
• Work 8-12 hour Day/Night shifts with flexibility to work other shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Maintain current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and Moderate Sedation certifications
• Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience encompassing all three specialties: Emergency, Medical-Surgical/Pediatrics, and Intensive Critical Care
• Report daily to the House Supervisor for assignment to a specific unit
• Demonstrate flexibility in unit assignments as directed by the House Supervisor
• Float to other departments as needed, which may include taking a patient load if experienced and competent in that setting
• Perform task-oriented duties when floating, such as answering call lights and phones
• Attend orientation sessions scheduled on Mondays
• Meet all compliance deadlines prior to orientation start date to avoid being pushed to the following Monday’s orientation
