Job Title: Anesthesiologist
Location: York, Pennsylvania
Schedule: 7:30AM – 5:30PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate: $339 – $365/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Anesthesiologist for a temporary assignment in York, Pennsylvania. These positions are 13-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Anesthesiologist:
• Provide Cardiac Anesthesiology services in a hospital setting alongside surgeons and specialty clinicians
• Work 10-hour shifts with night beeper call coverage from 5PM to 7AM, with the following day off post-call or first release approximately 11AM
• Cover approximately 3 call shifts per week, with some days consisting of 10-hour shifts only
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across a broad range of surgical and procedural areas
• Manage and treat patients across all age groups
• Perform special procedures including cardiac cases
• Work within a 1:3 supervision ratio
• Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation and charting
• Maintain Board Certification or Board Eligible status as an Anesthesiologist
• Maintain active PA license or IMLC Letter of Qualification (LOQ)
• Maintain current ACLS and PALS certifications
• Comply with all credentialing and privileging requirements, including full compliance due 2 weeks prior to start date
• Submit required credentialing documents within 5 days of signing, including Social Security Number, Photo, and PATCH results
• Schedule Child Abuse Search and Department of Human Services Fingerprint collection
• Comply with all health requirements including vaccines, physical, and fit testing
