Job Title: Radiation Oncologist
Location: Longview, Washington
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 26-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate: $262 – $282/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Radiation Oncologist for a temporary assignment in Longview, Washington. These positions are 26-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Radiation Oncologist:
• Practice as an MD/DO specializing in Radiation Oncology in an outpatient setting
• Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM on a 1.0 FTE basis
• See an average of 15 patients on treatment daily, 2 to 5 consults per week, and 5 to 10 follow-ups per week
• Conduct radiation oncology consults, simulations, and follow-up clinic appointments
• No surgical or procedural responsibilities outside of standard radiation oncology clinic operations
• Provide care to adult and geriatric patient populations
• Work independently as a solo provider
• Maintain active Washington state medical license or IMLC with Letter of Qualification (LOQ) prior to start date
• Maintain current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Provide documentation of clinical services rendered to a minimum of 50 patients within the previous 24 months, including diagnosis or procedure, date, and facility
• Utilize Epic EMR system for clinical documentation
• Comply with flu vaccine requirement (medical and religious exemptions considered)
• Adhere to all applicable credentialing, privileging, and compliance requirements
