Job Title: L&D/Postpartum
Location: Albany, Oregon
Schedule: 7:00PM – 7:00AM x 4
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $85 – $91/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a L&D/Postpartum for a temporary assignment in Albany, Oregon. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a L&D/Postpartum:
• Float between hospitals across multiple facilities as needed, with a primary site prioritized for most of the contract
• Adapt to varying schedules, which may include primarily weekend shifts or minimal weekend requirements
• Maintain a current, unencumbered Oregon RN license
• Maintain Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification
• Maintain AHA ACLS, NRP, and NIHSS certifications
• Obtain and maintain Fetal Monitoring Certification and STABLE (preferred)
• Apply a minimum of 2 years of labor experience including labor management, delivery care, fetal monitoring, and postpartum care of mother and newborn
• Verify high school diploma or equivalent in compliance with College of American Pathologists (CAP) requirements for moderate complexity testing
• Demonstrate proficiency in Epic electronic health record system
• Utilize personal automobile for travel to multiple points of care as required by work assignments
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures, including restrictions on excessive request-time-off (RTO)
