Schedule: 7:00AM – 5:00PM x 4
Term: 16-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $182 – $196/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a CRNA for a locum tenens assignment in Minneapolis, Minnesota. These positions are 16-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a CRNA:
• Provide anesthesia services as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in a tertiary hospital setting
• Work a minimum of 36 hours per week and 2 weeks per month
• Complete 3 required orientation shifts beginning on the second Monday of the month
• Commit to at least two consecutive weeks per month for the first three months of the assignment
• Work 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts as scheduled (6:30 AM–3 PM, 6:30 AM–5 PM, or 6:30 AM–7 PM)
• Collaborate within a Care Team Model (4:1) with support from a 24-hour Anesthesia Aid Department
• Provide anesthesia care for patients aged 12 and older
• Perform specialized care procedures as required; note that blocks, A-lines, epidurals, and spinals are not performed by CRNAs in this role
• Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation and charting
• Maintain active Licensed Registered Nurse licensure through the MN Board of Nursing
• Maintain active Registered Nurse Anesthetist licensure through the MN Board of Nursing
• Maintain current ACLS and BLS (Tier 2 – Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications
• Be available for occasional beeper call shifts on weeknights and some Saturdays as applicable
• Be open to occasional overnight shifts on weeknights and/or weekends (not required)
• Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
• Maintain a minimum of 1 year of CRNA experience
