Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $185 – $200/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a CRNA for a locum tenens assignment in Du Bois, Pennsylvania. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a CRNA:
• Work 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) or 8-hour vacation coverage shifts (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) as scheduled, with occasional/rare late stays as needed
• Float between three facilities as assigned
• Practice within a CRNA model under anesthesiologist medical direction at no more than a 4:1 ratio
• Provide anesthesia services across 11 ORs, 2 hospital GI suites, 3 GI suites at a CRNA-led endoscopy center, bronchoscopy lab, and cath lab
• Administer anesthesia for a variety of procedures including General, ENT (with pediatrics), GYN, OB, plastics, endoscopy, urology, ortho, vascular, cardiothoracic, and neuro
• Manage an individual caseload that may include 10–15 GI cases, 6–8 cystoscopies, or 3–4 general cases per day
• Apply preferred experience in vascular, neuro, and thoracic anesthesia; OB participation is optional
• Perform regional blocks and epidurals if desired
• Care for adult and pediatric patient populations; pediatric experience preferred but not required
• Utilize Cerner EMR/charting system for accurate and timely documentation
• Maintain current NBCRNA board certification and active Pennsylvania state licensure
• Maintain current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Complete all required credentialing documents within the established 3–4 week credentialing timeframe
• Attend orientation scheduled for the first day of the assignment
• Submit CV in month/year format covering full education and work history, with explanations for any gaps of 30 days or more
• Disclose any background issues, including malpractice settlements, with required first- and third-party documentation
