Job Title: CRNA
Location: Flagstaff, Arizona
Schedule: 7:00AM – 7:00PM x 4
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $185 – $200/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a CRNA for a locum tenens assignment in Flagstaff, Arizona. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a CRNA:
• Provide anesthesia services as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in a hospital practice setting
• Manage 50-60 anesthesia cases per day across a variety of surgical specialties
• Work across multiple surgical departments including orthopedics, orthopedic trauma, general surgery, general trauma, spine, neurology, cath lab, ambulatory, and endoscopy
• Utilize Cerner and SaAnesthesia EMR systems for documentation and charting
• Complete required Cerner training/orientation (approximately 4 hours, remote) prior to start date
• Maintain Board Certification as a CRNA
• Maintain active Arizona state licensure prior to or at time of offer
• Maintain current BLS or ACLS certification; ACLS and PALS also required
• Demonstrate recent hospital-based anesthesia experience
• Provide care for patient populations including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Participate in a phone interview with the department prior to placement
• Maintain up-to-date case logs within the last 12 months
• Complete medical records in a timely manner and respond promptly to deficiency notifications
• Comply with COVID-19 and flu vaccination requirements (exemptions considered on a case-by-case basis)
• Be available for overtime after scheduled shift as needed
