Job Title: Physician Assistant (PA)
Location: Rochester, New York
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 26-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $99 – $106/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Physician Assistant (PA) for a locum tenens assignment in Rochester, New York. These positions are 26-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Physician Assistant (PA):
• Provide APP services in a dermatology outpatient setting
• Manage a patient load of 25–35 patients per day
• Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Support clinical operations primarily at Clifton Springs location
• Float to additional locations as needed
• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for all clinical documentation
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Maintain valid New York state license
• Must be Board Certified
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of recent relevant experience
• Ensure work history is current and complete with no gaps of 30 or more days
• Submit a CV reflecting full experience history, requested time off, and malpractice review with physician explanation if applicable
• Provide a physician statement if any malpractice history exists, whether dismissed or not
• Complete NameClear process prior to submission
• Adhere to open and flexible scheduling requirements as needed
