Job Title: Radiologist
Location: Mountain Home, Arkansas
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 26-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate: $406 – $438/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Radiologist for a temporary assignment in Mountain Home, Arkansas. These positions are 26-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Radiologist:
• Perform on-site General Radiology services five days per week, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• Conduct a combination of moderate Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures and diagnostic reads
• Perform CT and ultrasound guided biopsies (excluding mammography)
• Perform drain placements including renal, biliary, gastric, gallbladder, and abscess drains in Cath lab and CT settings
• Place biliary stents as needed
• Perform thoracentesis and paracentesis procedures
• Conduct dialysis procedures in the Cath lab
• Manage occasional peripheral and pulmonary venous thrombosis cases
• Perform rare embolization procedures for GI and other bleeding cases
• Maintain compliance with COVID-19 and Flu vaccine requirements (Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed)
• Fellowship training in IR preferred but not required
• Candidates willing to obtain licensure will be considered
