Job Title: Cardiologist
Location: Lewisburg, Pennsylvania
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate: $308 – $332/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Cardiologist for a temporary assignment in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. These positions are 13-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Cardiologist:
• Work in a General Cardiology setting covering clinic, procedures, and call responsibilities
• See 17-18 patients per day in an adult patient population
• Work in both clinic and hospital settings
• Spend time in the lab 3 days per week
• Collaborate with APP support staff with Interventional if covering General Cardiology
• Perform and interpret nuclear reads and stress tests
• Perform and interpret echocardiograms, TEEs, and echo monitors
• Perform cardioversions
• Perform CT reads (preferred skill)
• Provide 1-2 nights of call coverage per week
• Provide 1:4/5 weekend call coverage, including rounding
• Maintain Board Certification (BC or BE) in Cardiology
• Maintain nuclear board certification and echo board certification (required)
• Maintain CT board certification (preferred)
• Maintain active PA license or IMLC
• Maintain active DEA registration
• Utilize EPIC EMR system for documentation
• Maintain a minimum of 1 year of cardiology experience
