Location: Marysville, California
Schedule: 8:00AM – 4:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $68 – $74/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a PT for a temporary assignment in Marysville, California. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a PT:
• Perform thorough assessments of patients’ physical abilities, movement limitations, and pain levels
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings, medical history, and patient goals
• Deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions to improve strength, coordination, balance, and mobility
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, occupational and speech therapists, and family members to coordinate patient care
• Monitor patient progress, adjust therapy plans as needed, and document all care provided in accordance with state and federal guidelines
• Educate patients and caregivers on safe mobility techniques, home exercises, and equipment use
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements including Medicare/Medicaid documentation and facility policies
• Participate in care planning meetings and interdisciplinary team conferences
• Supervise physical therapist assistants (PTAs) and aides as needed
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
