Job Title: L&D
Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Schedule: 7:00AM – 7:00PM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $81 – $88/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a L&D for a temporary assignment in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a L&D:
• Work as a Night Charge RN in the Family Birth Place (L&D) department
• Provide care in Labor & Delivery with OR, PACU, and postpartum, including couplet care
• Support approximately 80 deliveries per month
• Provide care for babies 32 weeks gestational age and up
• Work 12-hour night shifts with rotating weekends
• Participate in call rotation, typically one 12-hour shift every 6 weeks (subject to change)
• Maintain current Colorado RN license or compact license to practice in Colorado in good standing
• Maintain current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications
• Maintain current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Maintain current S.T.A.B.L.E. certification
• Maintain current Flu Vaccine as required
• Practice evidenced-based care to provide the best experience for patients
• Function as a team player within the nursing staff
• Adhere to all facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery
