Location: Pahala, Hawaii
Schedule: 7:00AM – 3:00PM x 5
Term: 20-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $54 – $58/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a PT for a temporary assignment in Pahala, Hawaii. These positions are 20-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a PT:
• Obtain and maintain an active State of Hawaii license prior to the start of the assignment
• Provide primary coverage in Acute Rehabilitation with secondary coverage in ICF/SNF Rehabilitation settings
• Evaluate and re-evaluate assigned residents and patients
• Plan and implement ongoing therapeutic Physical Therapy programs as prescribed by the attending physician and/or consulting specialist
• Provide consulting Physical Therapist services as needed
• Utilize Meditech EMR system for documentation and charting
• Be available to work variable shifts, weekends, and holidays as necessary based on operational needs
• Work variable schedule including Mon-Fri, Tues-Sat, or Sun-Thurs, 8:30am-5:00pm
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Possess a minimum of 6 months of work experience in at least one of the following adult care settings: Acute, Rehabilitation Hospital, or SNF
• Arrive the Thursday prior to the assignment start date to attend an employee health appointment on Friday
