Job Title: PCU
Location: Corvallis, Oregon
Schedule: 7:00AM – 7:00PM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $62 – $67/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a PCU for a temporary assignment in Corvallis, Oregon. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a PCU:
• Provide direct care or influence care for acutely ill patients who are moderately stable with an elevated risk for instability
• Deliver advanced monitoring, assessments, and interventions in a Progressive Care Unit setting
• Maintain current unencumbered RN license
• Maintain current Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification
• Maintain current AHA ACLS certification
• Maintain current NIHSS certification
• Apply PCU and basic EKG experience in patient care delivery
• Verify high school diploma or equivalent in compliance with College of American Pathologists (CAP) requirements for moderate complexity testing
• Utilize advanced knowledge and experience to care for patients requiring elevated monitoring and intervention
