Job Title: PTA
Location: Watsonville, California
Schedule: 7:00AM – 7:00PM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $38 – $41/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a PTA for a temporary assignment in Watsonville, California. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a PTA:
• Provide physical therapy services in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting
• Deliver patient care over a 13-week contract assignment
• Work a guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Evaluate and treat patients with physical therapy needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Monitor and document patient progress throughout the course of treatment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain current physical therapy licensure and required certifications
• Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
• Begin assignment as soon as possible upon placement
