Job Title: PSYCH
Location: Lewiston, Maine
Schedule: 7:00PM – 7:00AM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $60 – $64/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a PSYCH for a temporary assignment in Lewiston, Maine. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a PSYCH:
• Provide direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in all assigned areas
• Develop and periodically update individualized, interdisciplinary plans of care
• Evaluate patient outcomes and identify available resources for patients
• Deliver care to patients age 5 and up with psychiatric illnesses, including those with co-occurring medical needs
• Provide care for patients with diagnoses including major depression, bipolar disorder, adjustment disorder, and psychotic disorders
• Support patients in need of or requesting detoxification services
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Maintain current CPI training prior to start
• Maintain a valid State of Maine RN license
• Serve in a charge or preceptor role when required
• Demonstrate excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Function as an effective team player
• Manage stress appropriately and make decisions under pressure
• Provide flexible coverage 24 hours/day, 7 days/week as needed
• Adhere to facility dress code policy, including wearing maroon scrubs
