Job Title: L&D
Location: Gunnison, Colorado
Schedule: 7:00AM – 7:00PM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $70 – $76/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a L&D for a temporary assignment in Gunnison, Colorado. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a L&D:
• Work a mix of night and day shifts as required
• Provide compassionate and high quality care to expectant mothers during the labor and delivery process
• Support patients through the full range of care including childbirth and lactation education
• Monitor vital signs of patients throughout labor, delivery, and recovery
• Assist with medical procedures as needed during labor and delivery
• Offer emotional support to patients and their families during the childbirth process
• Maintain current required certifications as outlined in position requirements
• Complete Colorado Adult Protective Services (CAPS) check as required
• Ensure access to reliable personal transportation as public transportation is not available in the area
• Contribute to maintaining community health and wellness through expert nursing care
