Job Title: CLS
Location: Arcata, California
Schedule: 7:00PM – 7:00AM x 4
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $52 – $56/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a CLS for a temporary assignment in Arcata, California. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a CLS:
• Perform duties as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) Generalist
• Work a 7 days on, 7 days off schedule (Wednesday through Tuesday, every other week)
• Complete Wednesday shifts as 8-hour shifts (10:30pm – 7:00am)
• Complete Thursday through Tuesday shifts as 12-hour shifts (7:00pm – 7:30am)
• Maintain a two-week pay period totaling 80 hours
• Apply blood bank experience as a required component of the role
• Maintain a current California CLS or MLS license
• Provide TB clearance obtained within the past 12 months
• Utilize LIS Harvest for laboratory information system documentation
