Job Title: Home Health
Location: Kalamazoo, Michigan
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $46 – $49/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Home Health for a temporary assignment in Kalamazoo, Michigan. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Home Health:
• Triage emergent situations and remain independent in the application of advanced nursing knowledge
• Monitor acute and chronic medical conditions in coordination with Primary Care Providers (PCPs)
• Utilize care plans independently to provide clinic and home-based direct care
• Administer treatments, procedures, and medications as prescribed to participants
• Conduct regular home visits to provide care and treatment as ordered by the PCP, including wound care, lab draws, nurse assessments, and other nursing tasks
• Collaborate with both licensed and non-licensed personnel
• Maintain current CPR certification by AHA
• Demonstrate core values of compassion, integrity, teamwork, and excellence
• Maintain a visible presence while working in the center
• Communicate with staff, participants, caregivers, and other organizations as necessary
• Work beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays as necessary
• Maintain reliable transportation, a current valid Michigan driver’s license, and car insurance
• Comply with vaccination requirements for communicable diseases including Influenza, MMR, Varicella, Tdap/Td, Covid-19, and Hepatitis B
