Job Title: CNA
Location: Lake Isabella, California
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $26 – $28/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a CNA for a temporary assignment in Lake Isabella, California. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a CNA:
• Helps patients or clients with healthcare needs under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
• Provides direct and indirect resident care under the direction of RN or LVN
• Assists residents with daily living and activities
• Provides personal care and comfort to residents
• Assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment for facility residents
• Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both verbal and written
• Must have good interpersonal skills and interface professionally, tactfully, and respectfully with residents, staff, and the general public
• Utilize basic computer skills as required
• Must have skilled nursing experience
• Maintain current California CNA certificate
• Maintain current BLS AHA certification
