Job Title: CNA
Location: Quincy, California
Schedule: 7:00PM – 7:00AM x 4
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $33 – $35/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a CNA for a temporary assignment in Quincy, California. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a CNA:
• Assist residents with daily activities including bathing and dressing
• Take and monitor vital signs
• Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, and providers
• Answer resident calls in a timely manner
• Observe residents for skin integrity changes
• Turn and reposition residents as needed
• Transfer residents to bed, chair, or wheelchair
• Maintain cleanliness in the resident care area
• Change bed sheets and restock supplies as needed
• Maintain current California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
• Maintain current CPR certification
• Work under pressure while relating effectively to residents, families, and long-term care staff
• Communicate effectively in English including reading, writing, speaking, and comprehending
• Understand, plan, and carry out resident care plans and activities of daily living (ADLs)
