Job Title: PTA
Location: Sacramento, California
Schedule: 8:00AM – 4:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $57 – $61/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a PTA for a temporary assignment in Sacramento, California. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a PTA:
• Provide physical therapy coverage during a full-time PT’s planned leave beginning in September
• Manage a varied caseload in a fast-paced rehabilitation environment
• Utilize strong clinical reasoning skills to prioritize patient care
• Maintain effective communication with an experienced rehab team
• Complete accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and progress
• Apply SNF experience and best practices in a skilled nursing facility setting
• Collaborate and adapt within a team-oriented environment
• Maintain current and valid Physical Therapist (PT) state licensure
