Job Title: SURG-TECH
Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Schedule: 7:00AM – 5:00PM x 4
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $59 – $64/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a SURG-TECH for a temporary assignment in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a SURG-TECH:
• Hold an active Colorado Certified Surgical Tech (CST) License with DORA (required)
• Graduate of an accredited scrub technologist program
• Maintain certification in Surgical Technology from NBSTSA, AST, or NCCT
• Maintain current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association
• Work in a Level III trauma center environment with state-of-the-art surgical suites
• Perform surgical scrub technologist duties across multiple specialties including Ortho, Total Joints, Neuro/Spine, Robotics, Urology, GYN, ENT, and Plastics
• Operate and assist with robotic surgical systems including Exactech, Mako, Stealth, and DaVinci
• Support General, Eyes, Ortho, Brain/Spine, OB-GYN, ENT, Neuro, Plastics, Urology, and Trauma surgical procedures
• Work a schedule of 4-10 hour shifts with a rotating call schedule
• Comply with the 75-mile radius rule requiring permanent address to be at least 75 miles from the facility
• Complete CAPS requirements prior to start
• Submit required documentation including resume, skills sheet, CST DORA license, and BLS certification
• Ensure accurate personal information including correct SS# and DOB is on file for onboarding
