Job Title: MA
Location: Pawtucket, Rhode Island
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 70-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $44 – $47/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a MA for a temporary assignment in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. These positions are 70-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a MA:
• Provide temporary Medical Assistant coverage in a fast-paced OB/GYN practice setting
• Support providers throughout the day, seeing patients through end of shift
• Assist with patient intake, including rooming and vital signs
• Provide clinical support to healthcare providers as needed
• Utilize Epic EMR system for accurate and timely documentation
• Maintain current Medical Assistant Certification
• Hold a minimum High School Diploma
• Complete required skills checklist prior to submission
• Provide 2 professional references for credentialing purposes
• Comply with all required health and immunization documentation including COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Hepatitis B, and TB testing
• Complete required background check, employment verification, and confidentiality agreements during onboarding
• Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and dress code requirements
• Participate in candidate interview process prior to placement
