Job Title: MA
Location: Pawtucket, Rhode Island
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 70-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $44 – $47/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a MA for a temporary assignment in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. These positions are 70-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a MA:
• Assist providers with patient care in a fast-paced OB/GYN practice setting
• Perform patient intake, including rooming and vital signs collection
• Provide clinical support to providers throughout the day, including end-of-day coverage until 5:30 PM
• Utilize Epic EMR system for patient documentation and charting
• Maintain Medical Assistant Certification
• Hold a minimum of a High School Diploma
• Complete required skills checklist prior to submission
• Provide 2 professional references covering comparable experience
• Comply with all credentialing, health, and onboarding requirements including vaccinations and health screenings
• Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and confidentiality agreements
• Complete background check and employment verification requirements
• Participate in candidate interview process prior to assignment offer
