Job Title: Radiation Therapist
Location: Clovis, California
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $85 – $91/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Radiation Therapist for a temporary assignment in Clovis, California. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Radiation Therapist:
• Complete an AMA approved Radiation Therapy Program as a required credential
• Maintain current State of California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) licensure
• Maintain active ARRT Radiation Therapy (ARRT(T)) certification
• Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Deliver advanced radiation therapy care in collaboration with a highly specialized team
• Operate and utilize advanced radiation therapy equipment including Accuray CyberKnife, Varian TrueBeam, Elekta Infinity units, and High Dose Rate (HDR) suite
• Comply with all required health screenings and immunization requirements including MMR, Hepatitis B, TB Test, Varicella, and Tdap
• Submit to required background screening processes including criminal background check, OIG search, and related compliance checks
• Complete and maintain required skills checklist and competency documentation
• Adhere to all facility policies and procedures including confidentiality requirements
• Provide a minimum of 2 professional references prior to submission
