Job Title: Hospice
Location: Grand Junction, Colorado
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 12-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $49 – $53/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Hospice for a temporary assignment in Grand Junction, Colorado. These positions are 12-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Hospice:
• Provide compassionate hospice nursing care to patients and families
• Maintain strong clinical skills with excellence in assessment and critical thinking
• Serve as a teacher, helping patients identify their personal goals of care
• Support and build confidence in caregivers who are caring for their family members
• Function as a generalist across all diseases with a specialization in symptom management
• Manage an assigned caseload of patients as a Primary RN
• Lead the interdisciplinary team in caring for assigned patients
• Provide care wherever patients call home, including private homes, nursing homes, group homes, and assisted living facilities
• Follow a weekday schedule of Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm
• Provide occasional back-up coverage for weekends and on-call as needed
