Job Title: MED-SURG
Location: Warwick, Rhode Island
Schedule: 7:00PM – 7:00AM x 4
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $68 – $74/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a MED-SURG for a temporary assignment in Warwick, Rhode Island. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a MED-SURG:
• Maintain valid state licensure and ensure verification through Nursys and License/Certificate Verification
• Complete CNE Skills Checklist prior to submission
• Complete CNE Specialty Competency Exam as part of onboarding
• Complete CNE Basic EKG Exam as part of onboarding
• Complete CNE Pharmacology Exam as part of onboarding
• Complete CNE Core Competencies as part of onboarding
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Hold or obtain BSN degree
• Comply with COVID-19 Vaccine requirements and CNE Covid and Flu Policy
• Maintain up-to-date immunizations including MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, and Influenza Vaccine
• Complete Fit Test and TB screening (2 Step PPD or IGRA) as required
• Complete CNE Fingerprinting (RN Only)
• Submit CNE Profile and 2 Professional References prior to submission
• Complete CNE Work Attestation prior to submission
• Complete CNE First Look orientation packet upon onboarding
• Sign CNE Non-Employee Confidentiality Agreement
• Submit to CNE Criminal Background Check
• Provide CNE Employment Verification documentation
• Complete CNE Confirmation of Assignment and obtain CNE Badge Photo
• Complete CNE Occupational Health Request for Clearance Form
• Maintain a valid Driver’s License or State ID
