Job Title: MED-SURG
Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
Schedule: 7:00PM – 7:00AM x 4
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $36 – $39/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a MED-SURG for a temporary assignment in Lawton, Oklahoma. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a MED-SURG:
• Work 7p-7a shift with a 1:5 patient ratio
• Provide nursing care in a 24-bed adult medsurg/ortho unit
• Possess a minimum of 1 year of medsurg experience
• Conduct patient assessments and formulate nursing diagnoses
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel
• Maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting
• Develop systems to provide care to a diverse patient population including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
