Job Title: CNA
Location: Alturas, California
Schedule: 7:00AM – 7:00PM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $33 – $35/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a CNA for a temporary assignment in Alturas, California. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a CNA:
• Must have a valid California CNA License
• Works in conjunction with nursing staff, residents, families, and other facility departments to provide optimum individualized care for residents in a SNF setting
• Works shifts that include some weekends and holidays
• May be required to float to other units as necessary
• Receives and gives report on resident’s condition and assures understanding of care to be given
• Makes rounds on each resident, assesses all new residents and any resident who is ill, has fallen, or has sustained an injury
• Documents assessments per facility policy
• Notifies nurses of any changes in residents’ conditions or current needs
• Assists with direct patient care and assures that call lights are answered promptly
• Promotes good working relationships with other departments, co-workers, residents, families, and physicians
• Demonstrates good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as a team player
• Performs other duties as assigned
