Job Title: PACU
Location: Chico, California
Schedule: 7:00AM – 5:00PM x 4
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $73 – $78/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a PACU for a temporary assignment in Chico, California. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a PACU:
• Provide Pre-Op and Post-Op care for surgery patients
• Provide occasional Pre-Op care for GI patients
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Maintain current CPR certification
• Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation and charting
• Maintain current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing
• Work primarily weekend coverage shifts
• Float as needed for Med/Surg and Critical Care RN positions
• Adhere to facility dress code requirements (scrubs provided)
• Certified Peri-Anesthesia Nurse (CPAN) certification preferred
• Certified Ambulatory Peri-Anesthesia (CAPA) certification preferred
• Demonstrate experience with Level II Trauma Center standards and protocols
• Must be a W-2 employee of agency
• Prior travel assignment experience preferred
