Job Title: Interventional Cardiologist
Location: Gettysburg, Pennsylvania
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate: $389 – $419/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Interventional Cardiologist for a temporary assignment in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. These positions are 13-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Interventional Cardiologist:
• Provide hospital coverage including consults, outpatient and inpatient catheterizations, and TEEs in an Interventional Cardiology specialty setting
• Manage an average of 15 consults per day and perform an average of 3 procedures per day
• Perform special procedures including TEEs, Echo reads, Cardiac Catheterizations, and Cardiac Windows
• Provide Monday through Friday daytime coverage from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Provide Monday through Friday STEMI call coverage from 4:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Provide weekend STEMI call coverage from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Average approximately 3 weeks of call coverage per month
• Document patient care using Epic EMR system
• Maintain active Pennsylvania license or IMLC Letter of Qualification (LOQ) in hand
• Maintain board certification or be at minimum board eligible in Interventional Cardiology
• Maintain active DEA registration
• Complete full compliance requirements no later than 2 weeks prior to start date
• Submit Social Security Number, photo, and PATCH results within 5 days of signing
• Schedule Department of Human Services Fingerprint collection and complete Child Abuse Search
• Meet all health requirements including vaccines, physical, and fit testing
