Job Title: Psychiatrist
Location: Longview, Washington
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 26-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate: $201 – $216/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Psychiatrist for a temporary assignment in Longview, Washington. These positions are 26-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Psychiatrist:
• Provide Behavioral Health services in both inpatient and outpatient settings located approximately 5 minutes from each other
• Perform rounding, admissions, and discharges for adult patient populations
• Manage an average of 12–14 patients per day
• Work independently as a solo provider
• Obtain and maintain both clinic and hospital privileges
• Maintain active Washington (WA) state medical license in hand at time of presentation
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Utilize Epic EMR system for clinical documentation
• Provide documentation (case list) of clinical services rendered to a minimum of 100 patients within the previous 24 months, including diagnosis or procedure, date, and facility where performed
• Complete 8 hours of non-billable orientation
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination requirements (no exemptions accepted)
• Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years of experience in a comparable specialty and setting
• Adhere to all credentialing, privileging, and compliance documentation requirements prior to the start of services
