Job Title: Urologist
Location: Gettysburg, Pennsylvania
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate: $370 – $398/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Urologist for a temporary assignment in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. These positions are 13-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Urologist:
• Practice in a Urology office setting, including clinic, operating room (OR), and occasional daytime hospital call for rounding, consults, and add-on cases
• See a minimum of 14 patients per day, with new patient visits up to 30 minutes and 15-minute post-operative appointments
• Perform and assist with general urology procedures, including ureteroscopies
• Conduct hospital rounding and respond to consults during daytime hours as needed
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary support team including Medical Assistants, an LPN, a surgical scheduler, front office staff, and a practice manager
• Utilize EPIC EMR system for clinical documentation; prior EPIC experience in a clinic setting is required
• Provide coverage for an adult patient population (no pediatrics)
• Maintain Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Urology
• Hold an active PA License or IMLC Letter of Qualification (LOQ)
• Maintain an active DEA registration
• Adhere to all credentialing and privileging requirements, including full compliance due two weeks prior to start
• Complete required health requirements including vaccines, physical, and fit testing
• Submit required credentialing documents within five days of signing, including Social Security Number, photo, and PATCH results
• Schedule Department of Human Services fingerprint collection and Child Abuse Search within the required timeframe
• Maintain a minimum of three years of experience in a comparable urology setting (new graduates may also be considered)
