Job Title: Electrophysiologist
Location: Bellingham, Washington
Schedule: 7:30AM – 5:30PM x 5
Term: 36-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate: $324 – $349/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Electrophysiologist for a temporary assignment in Bellingham, Washington. These positions are 36-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Electrophysiologist:
• Provide Cardiology – General (.25 FTE) and Electrophysiology (.5 FTE) coverage for locum tenens assignment with a 9-month duration
• EP setting includes both hospital and clinic environments; General Cardiology is hospital-based only
• Perform rounding and admissions for adult patient demographics
• EP physicians must perform full spectrum electrophysiology procedures including pacemakers and ablations
• General Cardiologists must perform cardioversions and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs), approximately 2-4 TEEs per shift
• Provide documentation of cardiovascular disease services representative of scope and complexity of privileges requested within the previous 24 months
• EP applicants must provide documentation of a minimum of 100 electrophysiology cases within the previous 24 months
• Collaborate with APC support staff available Monday through Saturday
• Maintain current WA state licensure (IMLC accepted; willingness to obtain licensure depending on start date required)
• Maintain current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Utilize Epic EMR for clinical documentation and charting
• Participate in on-call coverage, to include 4 hours of gratis call
• Complete 8 hours of non-billable orientation
• Travel between locations as required, subject to approved travel caps
• Adhere to COVID-19 vaccination requirements (no exemptions accepted)
• Maintain a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
