Location: Bozeman, Montana
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $65 – $70/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a EP for a temporary assignment in Bozeman, Montana. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a EP:
• Assist clinic providers and staff in the delivery and coordination of patient care to facilitate patient satisfaction, clinic efficiency, and provider productivity
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while working collaboratively with other members of the health care team
• Plan and implement patient and family education
• Interrogate cardiac implantable electronic devices, monitor and document patient response to device therapy and programming changes, adjust device settings in accordance with provider orders, manage remote device monitoring, and troubleshoot device-related concerns
• Arrange and coordinate follow-up care for patients receiving services through the Device Clinic
• Maintain device clinic databases and patient records to support accurate documentation, reporting, and continuity of care
• Perform diagnostic tests and treatments as ordered by the provider, including electrocardiograms (EKGs), event monitors, Holter monitors, and Zio Patch application, removal, and data processing
• Coordinate and schedule surgical and procedural interventions related to cardiac implantable electronic devices and associated patient care needs
• Collaborate with radiology, surgical, anesthesia, and other interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care for patients with cardiac implantable electronic devices undergoing MRI studies, surgical procedures, or other interventions
• Maintain examination and treatment rooms to ensure cleanliness, organization, and appropriate stocking of supplies and equipment
• Collaborate with providers to assess and coordinate care for walk-in and urgent patient needs within the clinic
• Provide education, support, and ongoing guidance to patients and families regarding cardiac implantable electronic devices, arrhythmia management, and electrophysiology-related procedures, including ablation therapy
• Participate in quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and departmental initiatives to support safe, effective, and efficient patient care
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Complete all required education and training as assigned on time per regulatory and policy requirements
