Job Title: Physician Assistant (PA)

Schedule: 7:00PM – 7:00AM x 4
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $111 – $120/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Physician Assistant (PA) for a locum tenens assignment in Seattle, Washington. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Physician Assistant (PA):
• Provide neonatal advanced practice provider coverage for parental leave on the neonatal team from January through July 2027
• Work as a Neonatology NP or PA covering approximately 240 hours every two weeks across 3 FTE
• Ability to work all shift types including 10-hour day, 12-hour day, 14-hour night, and 24-hour shifts
• Work Level II, Level III, and Level IV NICUs as needed
• Perform all neonatal procedures as required by the clinical setting
• Manage clinical responsibilities including patient admissions, discharges, and delivery attendance
• Function as first call for all neonatal APP responsibilities
• Manage varying patient volumes depending on site level (Level IV: 5–6 patients; Level III: 10–15 patients; Level II: 5–8 patients with normal newborn duties)
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical records system for documentation
• Travel to and work at community NICU sites using a rental car as provided
• Credential at multiple facilities to maintain eligibility to work at community centers
• Maintain active NNP certification and/or active PA-C licensure
• Maintain valid state licensure
• Maintain active DEA registration
• Maintain current NRP certification
• Maintain current PALS certification
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccine requirements (medical/religious exemptions only)
