Job Title: MA
Location: Corvallis, Oregon
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $27 – $29/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a MA for a temporary assignment in Corvallis, Oregon. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a MA:
• Assist practitioner in performance of procedures
• Handle telephone prescription orders and refills
• Maintain patient records
• Relay test results to appropriate parties
• Provide medical back-office support
• Perform lab and EKG procedures as needed
• Maintain current Healthcare Provider BLS certification
• Maintain Registered or Certified Medical Assistant credentials
• Apply experience and knowledge related to Infectious Disease care
• Support the International Travel Clinic as needed
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery
