Job Title: L&D
Location: Coos Bay, Oregon
Schedule: 7:00AM – 7:00PM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $68 – $74/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a L&D for a temporary assignment in Coos Bay, Oregon. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a L&D:
• Minimum of 3 years Labor and Delivery (LD) experience required
• Recent acute care hospital experience preferred (within the past 5 years)
• Oregon State RN License required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• BSN preferred
• National Certification in Lactation or Perinatal preferred
• Provide management and care of Postpartum (PP), GYN, Surgical, or Medical overflow patients
• Manage and provide care for Newborns
• Assist with breastfeeding and/or infant nutrition
• Ability to resuscitate neonates per NRP guidelines
• May be required to lift up to 50 lbs
